The Zoo de Granby remains open during the labor dispute. Check the schedule of our three parks here.

Rates

We are aware that the strike may have a slight impact on our visitors' experience. Therefore, Zoo de Granby has voluntarily decided to lower its rates for the duration of the strike:

  • Adult (3 years and older): $39.99 (reg. $59.99)
  • Toddler (2 years old): $19.99
  • Baby (under 2 years old): Free

Daily program

Unfortunately, in case of a strike, we would be unable to offer our usual presentations as well as the animal feeding times (rest assured, the animals are not lacking food!). The Asian Trail At Down activity is also suspended for the duration of the strike.

Zoo at night

Please note that Zoo at night would be suspended in case of a strike. Please visit the experience page for the full schedule. If you have booked a Zoo la Nuit, a team member will contact you in case of cancellation.

Corporate events

All reserved corporate events, including all-you-can-eat BBQs, will take place.

FAQ

Animal Park

Yes, the animal park remains open according to its usual schedule. Only a few services will not be available, such as presentations by our naturalist-interpreters and animal care technicians.

Animal welfare remains the priority of the Zoo de Granby. All essential care continues to be provided to the animals and is supervised by animal care specialists.

Yes, all the animals will be visible. However, some activities will not be available, such as:

  • Indoor access to the lorikeet aviary
  • The stingray pool
  • Camel rides

Animal care supervisors oversee all the care provided to the animals and are supported by all the Zoo de Granby's management team. Tasks have been distributed among the management team to ensure all essential care for all the animals: the welfare of our animals remains the priority.

Yes, our two veterinarians remain on duty and continue to provide all necessary medical care for all our residents.

Please note that the Asian trail at dawn tours scheduled during strike days will not take place; a team member will contact participants in case of cancellation.

Amazoo Water Park

Yes, the Amazoo water park remains open according to its usual schedule. Please note that the aquatic park will be closed from August 26th to the 30th inclusively. The park will however reopen for the long weekend, from August 31st to September 2nd, inclusively.

No. The lifeguards will be on duty as usual.

Yes. The maintenance of aquatic facilities, the Oji restaurant, changing rooms, Le Récif shop, and the rental service remain open.

Amusement Park

Yes, the amusement park remains open according to its usual schedule. Please note that the amusement park will be closed from August 26th to the 30th inclusively. The park will however reopen for the long weekend, from August 31st to September 2nd, inclusively.

Yes. Ride inspections are rigorously carried out daily to maintain ride safety. La crème glacée de l'Allée and skill games are also open.
