From “Sea Otters” to “Save Others”: Mission Faune Launches Taylor Swift–Inspired Campaign to Help Wildlife, One Shirt at a Time
Press release
Inspired by Taylor Swift’s record-breaking “Sea Otters” shirt auction, Mission Faune unveils a
limited-edition collection of 13 shirts, each one dedicated to saving a different animal species.

Granby, October 24, 2025
When Taylor Swift’s “Sea Otter” shirt made waves and raised $2 million for wildlife conservation, one Quebec conservation organization saw an opportunity to turn that moment into a movement. Mission Faune, the Zoo de Granby’s commitment to biodiversity protection, is launching “Save Others,” a new campaign of 13 limited-edition T-shirts, each featuring a different at-risk animal, from the snow leopard to the green sea turtle. The first three designs are unveiled today as an exclusive “first look.”
Each shirt sold will directly fund the protection efforts of the featured species through Mission Faune’s ongoing conservation projects.
“Taylor Swift’s playful moment became a global conversation about saving otters,” explains Marie-Claude Landry, Director of the Mission Faune Foundation. “We thought, what if we could build on that same sense of fun, generosity, and pop culture energy to help even more animals?”
A collection of 13 shirts
The “Save Others” collection will feature 13 shirts, a number deliberately chosen as a nod to Swift’s signature numeral, with minimalist, artful designs representing 13 different animal species that benefit from protection measures in Canada and internationally through the work of the Zoo’s conservation experts. The full set of 13 designs will be revealed on launch day.The shirts will be available for sale for a limited time only, making them a special item for fans of both fashion with purpose and Taylor Swift’s cultural influence.
Mission Faune hopes the campaign will “bridge fandom and environmental activism,” showing that pop culture moments can have a meaningful real-world impact.
“It’s rare that a pop culture event sparks real-world conservation awareness. We wanted to seize that energy and turn it into something tangible, something that helps animals now,” adds Marie-Claude Landry.
The shirts will be available starting December 13th, a date chosen to honour Taylor Swift’s birthday, exclusively at saveothers.com.
The campaign’s message is simple: “Save Others.” Because whether it’s red pandas, jaguars, or African elephants, every purchase can make a difference.
