A friendly reminder:
A bracelet is given to the visitor at the admission booth. It must be worn around the wrist. The bracelet is non-transferable.
Granby Zoo is now a non-smoking zoo in all areas of its site, including the Amazoo Yoplait Water Park, with the exception of designated zones.
Companion animals are not allowed on the site.
Preserving our animals’ slim silhouette:
Visitors should be aware that the diets of all our animals were elaborated by a nutritionist. The Granby Zoo veterinarian modifies them as needed. To preserve the health of our animals, it is forbidden to feed them.
For the safety of our visitors, it is forbidden to:
- bring alcoholic beverages
- bring glass containers
- use scooters, roller-skates and skateboards
- use any kind of barbecue grill
Children under 13 years of age who are not accompanied by an adult will be denied access to the Zoo. Moreover, the Zoo acquits itself of any responsibilities in regards to children under 13 years of age left to fend for themselves on the site, except for the responsibilities mentioned in its internal regulations; the Zoo might also take rightful action in the event of negligence on the part on the accompanying adult(s).
In case of an emergency or inclement weather, the Administration of the Granby Zoological Society reserves the right to temporarily close access to the site or to one of its components, during regular visiting hours, without any compensation to the visitor. At all times, the Granby zoological society reserves the right to limit access or close down some Granby Zoo components.
Anyone who disregards safety regulations and general site rules, specific to the facilities, will lose all privileges conferred by the bracelet, leading to immediate expulsion from the site.
