School at the Zoo and the Zoomobile: Granby Zoo’s Academic Programs

The ZOOMOBILE has travelled all over Quebec since1995, and has covered over 250,000 kilometres. This represents over 175,000 wonderstruck children in 250 Quebec towns and villages. From insects to mammals, while not forgetting reptiles, birds, threatened species, baby animals and Zoo jobs, every subject is covered. We even provide theatrical entertainment for the Holidays and Halloween.

Teachers can also make on-site visits with their classes for SCHOOL AT THE ZOO. When the Zoo closes its doors to visitors in the fall, our educators provide private educational visits for school groups. You would be surprised at what you can learn from this unusual angle. Even in winter, several exotic animals like to take a peak outside. Have you ever watched elephants in the snow? Expect some surprising sights!
